PARTNER WITH THE HIST

The Hist looks for like-minded corporate firms to collaborate with. Sponsorship options vary across a numbers of levels, from sponsoring our flagship internal competition, Maidens, to becoming our headline sponsor, where we promote you in everything we do. With these sponsorship options, the Hist can do a lot for your firm.

• Through our 10,000 strong membership base, sponsoring the Hist has the equivalent capacity to reach as many Trinity students as the 50 smallest societies. Furthermore, the Hist is very proud to be as diverse as the campus we reside on, with the society comprised of 59 % female students. The society also has a wide reach across campus, spanning from STEM students to Arts students to Politics and Law students.

• The Hist manages one of the most prominent buildings on campus. We control 4 large rooms on a campus that is starved for student space. Partnering with the Hist gives firms a rare opportunity to have a enduring physical presence on campus. In the past, we have held recruitment and networking events for firms.

  • There is the Chamber, where we host our weekly chamber debate and guest lectures, our Conversation Room, which is newly renovated, with thanks to the College for funding it. We hold our wine receptions there and for more casual events we have the Hist Recreation Room, with couches and snooker tables. Finally we have our resource room, a quiet study space which holds our library.

• Our social media and online presence, which this website serves as the cornerstone of, is one of the most active on campus, spanning across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and even YouTube. We have a 47% open rate on our weekly emails, which include details on our events, as well as acknowledgement our corporate supporters. We live-stream most of our weekly debates and guest lectures on our Instagram account, getting over a thousand views. Through pop-in banners, watermarking, advertisement, and even hashtags, your firm and brand can be promoted through all of this.

• Through our competitive debating activities, the Hist runs three of the largest intervarsity debating competitions in Ireland. Over 200 participants from across Ireland, the UK and Europe compete, offering exposure to young talented students from outside Trinity. We also send delegations to other competitions and branding through clothing and stationary can link your firm to our debating successes.
